project he made it clear that he was working on one and released several snippets to indicate that the
project was indeed fire...
On the 27th of september however Oluwa stunna confirmed the release date of the lead single off his E.P
“Arrogance”, the singles release was announced a few weeks after the rapper reportedly quit music ,
although the rapper indicated that he did not wish to discuss his decision to quit music at that time a
member of his team , Just jeff stated that the rappers decision was based off stress and the frustrations
he had faced throughout the process of creating the project
“…all cass needs right now is family around him, its not a decision I would have advised but we have his
back and are confident that it will all workout…” (just jeff)
The rapper spoke on the decision a while later stating that it was actually based off depression and
frustrations “…the struggle is real, this path is a curse I swear, its like I can barely see an oppurtunity to
level up , nobody wants to show any support, I cant help feeling like they’re simply waiting for me to
fail…not just the music , I have problems with my family and academically …it’s a lot to deal with “ (Cass)
He however confirmed that the song would be released on the third of October, “…the song really means a
lot to me …it’s the most personal song I have ever worked on and I was skeptical about putting it out
because it felt like I was revealing a part of my life I would rather not…I am actually scared that it wont
mean as much to people as it does to me , and although I was scared people were going to judge me
and actually feel like I’m not a good person , I feel like the song would help someone who is going

He released the promo video for the song on youtube on the 27th and it is crystal clear that the song is
every bit the hit the rapper described it as
“I was a little tired of the usual legbegbe wo, I mean …I know that’s the way to go if I really want people
to listen to me but I needed to express myself and send a message …it would be hard to focus on the
messsage and shaku shaku at the same time … I just told mk what I wanted and as usual the beast

The song is produced by Mkay_beatz the producer behind the “homesick ep” and endee’s “coup de tat”
response to MI abaga’s fix up your life …the top notch production coupled with Oluwastunnas fiery bars
and flawless delivery equals an amazing song and a win for Hip hop in nigeria
The rapper shares his deepest thoughts in the songs lyrics and discuses issues from his rocky relationship
with his family to his frustrations and painful childhood
"...i needed to vent, the night I wrote arrogance, the person I figured was my only hope and support in the journey to pursue my passion came at me on a whole other level, it was definitely the most depressing moment of the year for me....I couldn't defend myself without sounding defensive which they would most likely perceive as disrespect...as she was talking on WhatsApp I was writing, by the time she was done I had written the first two verses of arrogance...its not an attempt to throw shade at anyone, I honestly love my family and I only wish they would understand me at least and drop the labels...well calling me arrogant led to me recording the biggest song I've ever made ...a few more names and I might have an album ....(Cass)
